We have the answer to the latest Garda 'crisis', so let's just get on with it

The justice system, in particular An Garda Síochána, has had a tough few years. Officers have had to deal with almost constant reports of disciplinary problems and whistleblower allegations.

There's a gangland feud in Dublin that has claimed at least seven lives, with some of the deaths taking place in broad daylight as children looked on.

Earlier this week, Transport Minister Shane Ross told the Seanad that the battle to make our roads safer is being lost. In fact, he said the situation was "critical", as the curse of drink-driving has returned.
