Stateside, they're way ahead of us. Almost half of America's 50 states have legalised medical marijuana. The latest information comes from an Irish opinion poll which was carried out by Red C Research.

A Medical Cannabis Bill proposed by Bríd Smith and Gino Kenny will be debated in the Dáil today.
