So many did not engage that full story of Rio 2016 may never emerge
Prosecutors in Brazil are eagerly awaiting the full report of Judge Carroll Moran in the hope it will help build their case against Pat Hickey.
They are understood to have carefully studied the revelations in yesterday's Irish Independent that the respected judge has failed to find any evidence of a ticket touting ring. The news will come as a blow to their investigation which attracted global headlines at last summer's Olympic Games.
Mr Hickey stands accused under Brazilian law of ticket touting, forming a criminal association/cartel and illicit marketing. He is facing up to seven years in prison if convicted.
