Nothing personal Katie - I'm all for girl power, but not in the boxing ring

No pulling punches here - I am taking the gloves off to declare I am extremely uncomfortable with women being involved in the so-called sport of boxing.

I suspect this will earn me a few right-hooks, but the notion of women throwing punches and battering each other around in a ring appals me.

This week, much-loved sporting hero, Katie Taylor, used a direct Twitter message to boxing promoter Eddie Hearn to take the plunge into the professional ranks of the game.
