Irish in the UK: Disgraceful racist crimes raise fear factor for every immigrant here

It was the latest in a shocking series of video clips and social media snippets that paint a bleak picture.

Manchester Police are investigating an incident of racial abuse that took place in the city at 7.30am yesterday.

Footage of the attack, which shows a group of youths telling a man to get off a tram, has been widely circulated. During the incident, a tram passenger is told to "get back to Africa" and called a "f**king immigrant" before being drenched in beer by the gang.
