Girls should be worrying about their concert outfit, not if they'll be killed
The attack in Manchester has affected young people here and fear is taking away their freedom, writes Regina Doherty
My Grace is 15. She is bright, bubbly and full of the exuberance that you'd expect of most 15-year-old girls. She loves life, make-up, clothes, going out with her friends, her boyfriend Andrew (who is a dote) and music. She looooves music.
A few months ago she came to me and her dad with a proposal: if she vacuumed the hall, stairs and landing twice a week until Christmas, would we buy her a ticket for the Ariana Grande concert?
The deal was struck.
