EURO 2012, I'm missing you already. Just two more matches to go before the curtain comes down on one of the best international tournaments of recent times.
Given that the organisers are determined to wreck the format, diluting the quality by expanding the number of teams, we should enjoy what remains of arguably the only decent football competition left. The Champions League is a shrivelled relic of what it was, and now involves essentially just two countries, while the World Cup has long since become a bloated circus.
The Euros are all we have, and we won't have them for long.
