Comment: Here is the hypocrisy at the heart of the 'gay wedding cake' case
Seven years ago, I attended one of the best weddings I've ever been at. Two gay friends got hitched in Belfast. After the civil partnership was over, we made our way round to the magnificent Merchant Hotel for the reception.
Everything that followed was pure sophistication and class.
It was a joy to behold compared with some of the tacky, tawdry straight weddings I've been at. The speeches, the music and the food were perfection.
