Vincent Hogan: Cahill's endless summer

They came home this week with sun-baked stories of football's new kings sailing the open skies. Barry Cahill listened without a murmur of envy to what he had missed out on in Florida and the Caymans.
To him, a GAA man is only what his club makes him and, tomorrow, he will be in Tullamore, quite probably dusted in whirlpools of sleet and buffeted by a wind that could sand furniture.
If so, it will be bliss. To him, this has become an endless summer.
