It's curtains for Gaa alternative to samba boys

THERE seems something positively barking about the absence of television cameras from Tullamore tonight just as World Cup coverage ratchets into overdrive.
Is there anywhere else in the world where, one week after two great superstars of a sport enthral the TV public with rat-a-tat moments of genius in the dying seconds of an epic, they return for a sequel with the klieg lights turned off?
In purely marketing terms, it seems absurd that some kind of timing compromise was not reached to facilitate coverage of, potentially, another Shefflin-Canning showdown. What do you do with an authentic alternative to Neymar and the Samba boys? In GAA-world, it seems you pull the curtains.
