Good riddance to predictable soccer season

And so the curtain draws on another season of European football. Good riddance to it. It was a year where the hegemony's grip grew ever stronger.

In Italy, Juventus can clinch a historic treble tonight if they beat Lazio in the Coppa Italia final. They can extend that to a quadruple if they win the Champions League final in Berlin on June 6.

That night, Barcelona will likely be looking to guarantee their own treble, their second in four years.
