AJAI Chopra is a blogger. Who knew the International Monetary Fund's top gun in Ireland had time for the blogosphere? But click onto the IMF website and up pop his thoughts on prudent fiscal policy.
I'm a lot more familiar with him since studying his blog. I even feel I can call him Ajai, rather than His Supreme Excellency. Since his arrival here, his posts will probably be less frequent, but the mission chief has hit the jackpot. He'll be referencing Ireland in blogs for the next decade.
In one, he talks about restoring boredom as a monetary objective. Sounds good to me. Those blogs should be mandatory reading for any finance minister. Except we no longer have a finance minister -- the IMF and the EU have ingested the department.
