Peadar's engineering success for the future

The Irish team were defeated yesterday in the play-off for third place by the host nation New Zealand in the Junior Rugby World Cup.
And the captain of the Ireland team has a political connection – Peadar is the son of Wicklow TD Billy Timmins.
Peadar (20) has just completed second year in engineering in UCD, but is also regarded as a seriously talented rugby player.
However, his proud dad Billy is equally sanguine about his son's future prospects, whether it's a career in engineering or sport. "Anything but politics . . ." the Reform Alliance member (sort-of) joked.
