Health Minister James Reilly has hit back at a growing discontent within Labour over his health policies.
The knives are out within Labour over HSE plans to close, or reduce, the number of patients attending 35 public nursing homes.
Labour TDs told the Sunday Independent the party is deeply concerned about the possibility that Dr Reilly is attempting to impose a policy of "privatising nursing home care for the elderly by stealth''.
