John Drennan: Recovery? But the cash tills are silent
We're all out of money, and our Government of the living dead is bankrupt of ideas, says John Drennan
IT is bad enough that Ireland is the economic sick man of Europe. But as it staggers towards the finishing line of the summer recess, we are also plagued by a Government whose ineptitude now rivals Papa Doc Duvalier's infamous Haitian regime.

However, as is so often the case with this lot, they were as accurate as a builder using a crooked spirit level.
