SOMETHING quite strange recently happened in America.

Apparently a president — who, unlike some we could mention, had to win the job for himself rather than being given it on an “anointed” platter — made what is called a “state of the union” address in which he talked openly about his strategy for the year ahead.

Barack Obama admitted to past mistakes and outlined plans to correct them.
