The attendance of Denis O'Brien as a guest of the Government at the Global Economic Forum in Dublin Castle has led to an extraordinary series of rows within the Fine Gael/Labour Government.
A number of ministers last week told the Sunday Independent that "at the forum, eyebrows were certainly raised when O'Brien walked in".
In the wake of the Dublin Castle furore, top-level Labour figures confirmed they were less than happy with a scenario where Labour was being "attached" to Mr O'Brien.
