TENSIONS are increasing between the Coalition partners on a number of fronts as the honeymoon period gives way to the hard grind of tough decisions.
In a week where Health Minister James Reilly came under fire from his own TDs over hospital closures in Roscommon, the Labour TD Joanna Tuffy launched a sharp criticism of Phil Hogan's new policies for political reform.
Speaking in the Dail, she said the minister's proposals to cut the number of Dail seats represented a rush to populism that could result in "less accountability and less democracy".
