North's political chaos will compound all our Brexit woes
Let's cling to whatever little bit of good news we can find. Those of us who detest January must know that today we have crossed the hump, and hopefully, soon now we will see various signs of spring beckoning.
On the political front it is a struggle to find too many positives. Today we are set to have the inevitable confirmed; there will be elections in the North which are likely to be at best time-wasting, and at worst seriously questioning the hard-won progress from two decades of peace making.
Tomorrow, we believe British Prime Minister Theresa May will begin to give us some clue about what she wants from Brexit. And Friday will see US president-elect Donald Trump become President Trump.
