Gerry must be great on economy if he can manage to run his homes on the average industrial wage

Had it been Larry Gogan, he would likely have said: "Ah the questions didn't suit you today, Gerry!"

But this was not "Just A Minute - the 60-Second Quiz" of yesteryear where people often paraded their abysmal lack of basic knowledge. It was a primetime radio interview involving somebody who would be Taoiseach - if the Irish people will it - and Seán O'Rourke, whose job is testing politicians' claims at election time.

Yet again, Gerry Adams showed how he cannot even pay enough attention to his backroom party crammers, or leaf through their notes.
