FF and FG are making fools of law-abiding citizens

Literally half the nation voted for either Fine Gael or Fianna Fáil.

It is a racing certainty that the vast majority of those same voters also help make up the six out of 10 people who obeyed the law and paid their water charges over the last 12 months, albeit with varying degrees of reluctance.

But as the dust began to settle on the election results this past Monday, what do we find? The beginning of several days during which both parties made a mockery of those who paid their lawful bills as these parties worked to further their own political interests.
