Obama swans around, taking credit for wrecking everything he touched

If words are the best weapons in a battle of ideas, then we're in more trouble than I thought.

In fact, at a time when the most popular platitude is that 'love can conquer hate' (it can't, and never has) it's almost as if our only defence against the nail bombs and AK-47s is the kind of nonsense that would be rejected by Hallmark for being too trite.

The commander-in-chief of clichés remains Barack Obama, a man who never met a soundbite he didn't like.
