McEnroe's volley on Serena slammed as sexist - but nobody said he was wrong

Well, it's that time of the year again - the strawberries and cream have been prepared, the Pimm's is on ice, Wimbledon has just started and, of course, we also have the traditional sexism row.

Interestingly, this year sees John McEnroe as the man in the firing line.

His comments last week that Serena Williams would be lucky to break into the top 700 on the male tour were greeted with predictable fury.
