Some people are simply born with great reflexes. They are lithe and lissom, have good hand-eye coordination and can negotiate their way through their daily business without killing themselves.
And then there are people like Gerard McWilliams, who must surely have earned the title of Ireland's Unluckiest Man.
The 52-year-old taxi driver was described in court last week as "accident prone" by his solicitor, and it's easy to see why.
