One of the great joys of travelling through Asian countries is exposing yourself to the friendliness of the locals and, in particular, the local cuisine.
Said local cuisine tends to be on the spicy side and anyone who has ever come down with a touch of Delhi Belly will know the gut-sinking feeling of rushing to the loo only to discover that you have to make do with a hole in the ground.
In fact, one of the things travellers throughout that region miss most about home is a good, old-fashioned toilet.
