Ian O'Doherty: It's a bit late for that . . .
Well, they say there's a first time for everything, but even the most ardent believer in that principle will be a bit surprised by this particular first -- Kerry Katona trying to stop herself being on television.
The programme, Kerry And Me, which airs on Channel 4 tonight, was shot in February when this hideous woman, who surely falls foul of the Offensive Weapons Act, was in the middle of her drug-addled phase and it's fair to say that she doesn't exactly cover herself in glory.
Apparently, now that she has dumped Mr Potato Head, allegedly kicked the drugs and found some unsuspecting sap to be her boyfriend, she has tried to change her image and rewrite history at the same instance, and the programme couldn't have come at a worse time.
