Frankly, the whole Google Earth thing frightens me. As individual citizens, we have the right to go about our business without fear of being constantly caught on someone's camera.
It's the most fundamental invasion of privacy but the fact that Google now seems to be more powerful than most of the governments of the countries in which it operates means it's not going away any time soon.
And the most vivid example of the threat to our privacy comes from Google Earth in Germany.
