Ian O'Doherty: Don't even think about it...
As the last lingering vestiges of Christmas cheer evaporate with the realisation that we are, to use a technical term, completely buggered (another two weeks till we get paid -- great. Just bloody great), we all need to rally around and try to drag our collective arses out of the national depression we're experiencing and start to be more positive.
In fact, the only way we're going to emerge in any fit state is if the general population works as one unit.
Or, on the other hand, we could completely paralyse the State by launching so many protests that cities are effectively shut down, causing even more small businesses to go bust.
