Frankly, regardless of the good intentions of the majority of those who attended the march on Saturday, they were simply engaging in an exercise in futility.
It doesn't matter whether 50,000 or 100,000 turned up, the harsh reality of the situation is that the only thing a demo like that will achieve is making the participants feel a bit better about themselves.
Which is nice.
