HMV – finally something to cheer about
HMV completed the next stage of its Lazarus operation when it reopened its famous Henry Street store last Friday and I think I might, for once, be correct in predicting the mood of the nation when I say . . . brilliant. This is just great news for those of us of a certain vintage.
Because apart from being a big employer, HMV retains a massive pull on the psyches of several generations. And it's just . . . nice to have them back.
'Nice' may not be a word often associated with business recovery, but I doubt you could throw a stone in any office or street and hit someone who doesn't have their own, personal HMV story.
