Coalition ignores risks of 'permanent casualties'

THE Government welcoming the OECD economic survey of Ireland is predictable.

The Paris-based think-tank says the country is "back on its feet" and growth has returned, with the economy expected to grow by 2pc next year.

But the Coalition is deliberately missing the point as the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development warned about a lost generation of long-term unemployed not benefiting from the comeback.
