Must Sinn Fein now drop men of 1916?

Sinn Fein doesn't want to create a "hierarchy of victims". So where does that leave Pearse and Connolly

It is indeed strange that there has been so little response to that recent Sinn Fein declaration that "we should not be creating a hierarchy of victims".

These were the words of Sinn Fein councillor Jonathan Graham as he argued that it would be inappropriate to name the new N7 flyover at Newlands Cross after Veronica Guerin.

"We should not be creating a hierarchy of victims. There are a number of other families who have been affected by criminality in this area," he explained.
