YOU see men and women crying with frustration outside Ireland's driving test centres. The system is erratic, illogical and expensive for young people.
Now the State is making learner drivers pay hundreds of euros more before they even sit the test. The new system starts this month. Having a relative who is good enough to teach you to drive safely is no longer enough.
Everyone wants safer roads. But are learners being picked on to make a point, while qualified drivers get off lightly?
