F irst to the complaints department, which has been quiet this summer. Last weekend, the qualifier games were played on Saturday evening, but it was Monday lunchtime before this week's fixtures were released.

It's amazing to me that the draw was not made on Saturday, as soon as the game finished between Cork and Limerick, and the dates and times decided on by Sunday morning at the latest.

Teams like Cork and Kerry generally overnight before a big match in Croke Park, but they did not know whether they were playing on Saturday, Sunday or Monday, or in the first game or second.
