Super Mario wants to reach next level in eurozone game

PRESIDENT of the European Central Bank Mario Draghi will have to work hard this year to keep his Super Mario nickname.

He was crowned Super Mario after being seen to get to grips with the problems in the eurozone soon after he took up his role, with a cut in eurozone interest rates one of his first moves.

Every time he gets on top of one obstacle, the game changes and a new challenge is presented -- just as in the 'Super Mario Brothers' computer game.
