It has taken forever, but at last there is a plan to do something about the scourge of rapidly rising motor insurance costs.

The Government has set out 33 recommended changes in the hope that some of the pressure on premium costs can be relieved.

The final report of the Government's 'Cost of Insurance Working Group' contains some welcome planned changes.
