IN time we will probably come to call them 'Generation Deep In Debt'. They are in their 30s and 40s and are saddled with big debts.
They have children of school-going age and are spending a small fortune at the moment to equip them for the return to the classroom.
But it is the big mortgages that were taken out on overvalued houses that are the real problem.
