So, Leo, who's in charge now?
The first major public inquiry of the Varadkar era has been established after the Government caved in last night and agreed to institute the Who's In Charge Now Commission of Inquiry 2017.
The move follows a groundswell of public pressure from people wanting to know who exactly is in charge now.
"You never felt Enda Kenny was absolutely in charge," said one activist. "But you'd the feeling that, behind him, someone was. And even if they didn't seem to know what they were doing at times, underneath it all, they were vaguely in charge. This just feels like a free gaff, or like a student teacher has come in."
