THIS is the Chinese year of the rabbit, so I think I'll put my money on Pat for the next finance minister. But whoever it is had better be careful; the auguries are not good.
The rabbit, you see, belongs to the wood, but 2011 is a metal year. Since the metal element tends to work against the wood element, we can expect uncertainties and troubles to carry over from the turbulent 2010 Tiger Year. So, at any rate, I have read.
