Brendan Keenan: Banks clear one hurdle but true test is what the markets think

WAS there grade inflation in the European bank stress tests? Some people suspect so. Only seven banks out of 91 tested failed, and five of them were tiny Spanish savings banks.
Only one was Greek and the only big one -- the German Hypo Real Estate bank -- now belongs to the German taxpayer.
Is that really it?
