In the US, the Taoiseach "did us proud", according to Ryan Tubridy, a luvvie beyond his tender years, of Fianna Fail stock, who got to shake the hand of the prophet Obama. Or so he twittered.

From New Zealand, Mary Harney will be home soon, that business in Tallaght all but forgotten, save for the obligatory Dail row. Resign! No! Next business. Welcome home, Mary, your country missed you.
