There will be early talks on the successor to the Lansdowne Road Agreement. Of that you can be sure.

The Government just needs to find a way of opening those discussions without appearing to dance to the tune of Jack O'Connor.

In fact, had the Siptu boss not set a deadline of today for an announcement, the Public Expenditure Minister Paschal Donohoe might already be issuing invitations.
