Vengeful voters will play the blame game in ballot boxes

BRIAN Cowen took serious exception to the accusation of economic treason. It was obvious in his reaction to Eamon Gilmore that the Taoiseach was hurt and angry.
His patriotism had been challenged. But to most people the label matters little. The words treason and mismanagement have different meanings but they are interchangeable. And the end result is exactly the same.
Someone has to take political responsibility for our economic collapse and the truly staggering bailout of our banking system.
