Time to dust the corridors of power
In this internet age the Dail could do with a makeover to bring it into the 21st Century, writes Eamon Delaney
Every time I visit Leinster House these days, which I usually do once a week, it reminds me of the title of a Milan Kundera novel -- Life is Elsewhere. Given all that has happened in this country in the last few years, and all of the devastating events, there is little sense of any change at the citadel of our parliament.
Still, we have the ever officious ushers, the near empty chamber, and the oil paintings of old heroes.
