THE new deal to save the euro yesterday left punters with a raft of unanswered questions. Here, we try to take some of the mystery out of the decision that has been taken by our political leaders in Brussels.
Q: So, have we saved the euro?
A: Nobody is quite sure. Even the Polish prime minister, Donald Tusk, who chaired all the meetings, said yesterday that he "didn't know", so the jury is out. There is a lot of detail missing from the agreement, but it looks much better than some of its predecessors.
