The system failed Jill when it allowed a monster to roam Melbourne's streets

IT does not seem that long. Thirty-five years for brutally taking a life. But I will be 66 when Jill Meagher's killer, Adrian Bayley, is eligible for parole.

Jill would have been 64 and enjoying life with her children, maybe even grandchildren.

I wonder if she would have created the great sitcoms she always hoped to write?
