LEINSTER House in Dublin yesterday was like Hollywood 48 hours before the Oscars, with wannabe ministers wondering if they would win an award tomorrow.
A seat in cabinet is the ultimate prize for a career politician and, like actors, TDs know there is something of a lottery about being chosen to join the elite of your profession.
There are only 15 seats and as many as 20 TDs in Fine Gael and the Labour Party expecting to pick up a seal of office in the Aras tomorrow evening.
