THERE are significant consequences which can arise from a judgment that is registered in the central office of the High Court.
A court-ordered judgment is published in 'Stubbs Gazette', the debt-monitoring journal, leading to widespread publicity of a registered debt.
This will automatically affect a debtor's credit rating and may "trigger" further claims by creditors.
