Are we really serious about developing entrepreneurship in Ireland? The report from the government-appointed Entrepreneurship Advisory Forum believes we aren't half serious enough.

It has made a raft of positive recommendations, many of which may not see the light of day, but others could easily be implemented without enormous cost to the Exchequer.

We have had lots of small business think tanks over the last 20 years. Many of those taskforce recommendations were acted upon and worked. The big challenge for this cash-strapped Government is how to do more for small businesses without it costing too much money.
