AFTER 100 days in office, Fine Gael will be very pleased with the 42pc support it received in the latest Irish Independent/Millward Brown Lansdowne poll (conducted between Saturday June 18 and Monday June 20).
This represents increased support from its general election showing and reflects a relatively painless transition into power.
The electorate still sees the Government as merely the messenger, rather than the architect, of bad news.
